94 degrees

The clock said it was 94.  I sure felt a lot hotter than that, but that’s what I went with.

I turned on the propane for the BBQ and had to double check to see if the flame had actually lit.  It was that hot.

As I watched my boy play in the water I caught the old fashioned tunes come from the next door neighbors house.  That made things seem hotter.

I got a glass of water and sat in the chairs that were in the shade.  That was one of the advantages to having a north facing backyard.  There was always shade from the sun and it was bearable.

I sipped the water.  The boy played in the water and the old fashioned tunes continued to play.
