Who are you?

Christian Dorr 2012This photo you see to the left is me…Christian Dorr! Like many people I feel so out of place writing about myself. So let me just cover the basics!

I’m a husband and have been for 15 years, going on 16 years.  My wife and I waited a long time before we had our first child.  We currently have 2 boys that provide us with challenges on a daily basis!.  Despite the training we are receiving (the trouble they get into!) the joy that they brings to my heart is unmeasurable!  We also have an older cat and a boxer who you may or may not see photos of on this blog.

I’ve always been fascinated with writing so it was a natural progression to take up blogging.  I’d love to say I’ve been doing this for years, but I haven’t.  I have had various starts here and there, but nothing that stuck.  While this blog currently isn’t used much I’m hoping that in 2015 I can change that.

What can you expect of this blog?

Hopefully you can expect some consistent writing in 2015!  Beyond that my hope is to talk about technology, Christianity, growing up in Montana and living in Wyoming.  And probably a wide variety of other topics that interest me or spur me on to write!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I found your codeigniter db forge utility. Is that on github anywhere? I need to enhance it a bit for my purposes and would love to build on what you already have.

    • Hey Michael – Sorry for the delay in getting back to you (new Google mail doesn’t do very well for routing comments I’m finding out). I don’t have it on Github right now, but I can do that for you or I can just send you the code if you prefer. Let me know if your still interested.

      • are you the person who wrote the story on Ted Ernst? I could not find your email so I am sending this on your blog..sorry….Linda Kaiser

          • I wondered if you wanted Ted’s address, he writes to us at Moving On Ministry

          • Linda – Not at the moment. We had a disagreement on things when I was communicating with him and he broke it off. Thanks
